What is a Geosoft ID?

Your Geosoft ID is your business e-mail address that is registered with Geosoft. Your Geosoft ID gives you secure access to Geosoft services and online resources.

How do I create a Geosoft ID?

Geosoft uses your e-mail address as your Geosoft ID. Visit My Geosoft at https://my.geosoft.com and click "Create a Geosoft ID".

Registering Your Geosoft ID

How do I know if I already have a Geosoft ID?

If you already have a Geosoft ID, you will not be able to register again with your business e-mail address. You will get a message that says "A user account already exists for that e-mail address." If you have forgotten your password, you may need to reset it.

I just registered, but I have not received my activation e-mail.

When you register, we immediately send an activation link to the e-mail address provided. If you have not received it, please follow these steps:

  1. Check your spam or Junk Mail folder - Sometimes legitimate e-mail ends up in spam folders. Please check for an e-mail there. The subject line will be "Activate Geosoft ID".
  2. Wait 20 minutes - It can take up to 20 minutes to receive the e-mail.
  3. Add "noreply@geosoft.com" to your Contacts or Safe Sender List.
  4. Double-check the e-mail address you used to register - You can try registering again. Note that if you did not make a mistake you will receive two activation links but the first one will no longer be valid.

If you have already tried all the above suggestions and still did not receive your activation link, please contact support@geosoft.com and include your Geosoft ID e-mail address.

When I tried to activate my Geosoft ID, my activation link says "Your account could not be activated. It may have been activated already."

You may have already activated your Geosoft ID. Try to sign in with that e-mail. The activation link in the e-mail that you used will expire if you have registered again with the same e-mail address. You may have received a more recent activation link.

I tried to register and create a new Geosoft ID, but I get a message that says "A user account already exists for that e-mail address."

You may have already registered with that e-mail address. Try signing in or reset your password.

What do I do if I forgot my Geosoft ID password?

If you forget your Geosoft ID password, you can reset it.

I tried to reset my password, but I get a message that says "That e-mail address doesn't have an associated user account."

The e-mail that you entered is not in our system. Try registering again at My Geosoft.

Why do I see the message "Your password is invalid" when I try to create or change my Geosoft ID password?

You may be using unsupported characters in your password. Make sure your password contains at least 6 characters. Try using a combination of letters and numbers. Your password is case sensitive.

I am unable to Sign In with my e-mail and password.

You may have multiple Geosoft IDs. Try signing in with one of your other Geosoft IDs. To sign in with another Geosoft ID, you may need to delete the Geosoft ID cookie from within your browser preferences. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password when you are signed in by viewing your Profile in My Geosoft and clicking "Change Password".

Can I change the e-mail address that I am using for my Geosoft ID?

You can change your Geosoft ID to another e-mail address that is not already registered as a Geosoft ID. You will be required to validate the new e-mail address. Once you have activated the new e-mail, the old e-mail address will no longer work as a Geosoft ID. To change your e-mail address click on the "Change Geosoft ID" link next to your Geosoft ID e-mail in your Profile in My Geosoft.

I have multiple Geosoft IDs. Is there a way for me to consolidate them into a single Geosoft ID?

If you have multiple Geosoft IDs that you wish to consolidate, please contact support@geosoft.com and include your Geosoft ID e-mail addresses.

Where do I sign in with my Geosoft ID?

You can sign in using Oasis montaj or Target using the Sign In option in the top right corner, or online at My Geosoft.

How do I get to My Geosoft?

You can access My Geosoft directly from Oasis montaj or Target, or by going directly to My Geosoft at https://my.geosoft.com.

To access My Geosoft you may need to update to a modern browser. My Geosoft is supported on Internet Explorer 9 and higher and the latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.  Old browsers can put your security at risk, are slow and don't work with new My Geosoft features.

My Geosoft is also available on iPhone, iPad, and Android mobile devices.

Why does Geosoft want my e-mail address?

When you use your e-mail address to register for a Geosoft ID, this information is used to send you requested information or products, to contact you with other product information, news or promotions, ensure proper delivery and billing of our products and services, and to learn more about the interests of our web visitors like yourself in the features of our products and web sites. For more information, read the Geosoft Privacy Policy.

Why do I need to fill in my contact information?

Geosoft recommends you complete your profile with additional information including your Company Name, Address (including Country and Province/State), and Telephone Number. This is required information if you plan on making online purchases for services such as VOXI Subscriptions or Training.
