Trying to add a Geosoft grid (*.GRD) to a layer in ArcGIS, but cannot. Get one of the following error messages: "Could not add a raster layer using ...grd' The raster may not be supported by your installation of ArcGIS Desktop."; "Invalid Raster Dataset. Failed to create raster layer" Read More

Cannot see Geosoft Grids (*.GRD) or Tiff images (*.TIF) when adding data to a layer in ArcGIS (with Target for ArcGIS or the Geosoft Plugin for ArcGIS installed). OR, you get an error when trying to add a GRD or TIF, such as "Invalid Raster Dataset. Failed to create raster layer" Read More

Error Message: "Cannot contour a grid that is outside of the data view area of the current map. Display the grid in the map and use RESZMAP GX to resize the data view to include the grid"

Error message: "Cannot contour a grid that is outside of the data view area of the current map. Display the grid in the map and use RESZMAP GX to resize the data view to include the grid". Occurs when attempting to add contours to a plan view gird on a Section Plan. Read More

Getting an error while trying to open a DXF in AutoCad: "Improper table entry name TRIMBLE GPS PATHFINDER (or PORKY'S) on line XXXX. Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded." The DXF will not open in AutoCad. Read More
