How to: Extract a section or level (plan) grid from a voxel

Problem:

I have updated my Geosoft application and can no longer find the option to extract section or plan grids from a voxel. Where can these functions be accessed from?

Environment:

Oasis montaj v7.1+, Target v7.1+ and Target for ArcGIS v3.1+

Solution:

A new Geosoft 3D Viewer was developed for the v7.1 release (v3.1 for Target for ArcGIS). The option to extract a section or plan grid from a voxel is now found within the 3D Viewer.

To extract a section grid from a voxel:

1. 3D menu > Create a New 3D View.
   
2. Enter a name for Map name > click OK.
   
3. Add to 3D menu > Grids > Section Grid(s) Extracted from Voxel.
