In the Geochemistry for ArcGIS Extension, I am selecting data on the analysis plots, but the points in my Feature Class are not being selected.

Problem:

In the Geochemistry for ArcGIS Extension, I am selecting data on the analysis plots (ex. histogram, scatter, probability or ternary plots), but the points in my Feature Class are not being selected. Is it possible to select data on the plots and see the corresponding points in my Feature Class selected?

Environment:

ArcMap with Geochemistry for ArcGIS Extension

Resolution:

1. Ensure that the Feature Class you created from the geochemistry project is selected in the Geochemistry Data Source table of contents.
2. Geosoft Geochemistry toolbar > Analysis > Histogram Analysis.
3. Select the bars that are of interest to you with the left-mouse button. You will see the corresponding data points selected in the display.

Note:

The above steps will also work with the scatter analysis, probability analysis and ternary analysis.

Points can also be selected in the display and the corresponding data on the analysis plots will be highlighted in blue.
