I cannot get the feature class to display with the Geochemistry for ArcGIS sample dataset

Symptom/Problem:

I am trying to learn Geochemistry for ArcGIS using the tutorial & supplied sample dataset, but when I create a feature class from the merged dataset I get an empty attribute table and nothing plots.

Environment:

Geochemistry for ArcGIS 1.0

Resolution:

Instead of using the sample dataset that came with your installation of Geochemistry for ArcGIS (C:\Program Files\Geosoft\ArcGIS\data\geochemistry), download the dataset that corresponds to the instructions in the GeochemistryforArcGISTutorial.pdf file from the Geosoft Software Tutorials download page.

Root Cause:

The survey.csv file that comes with the Geochemistry for ArcGIS installation does not contain the correct coordinates for the Survey Coordinate System that the tutorial instructs you to choose. The correct dataset will be supplied with the next update for Geochemistry for ArcGIS.
