Menu items are missing when I start the Oasis montaj/Target.

Symptom/Problem:

When I start the program a variety of the menu items I had before are now missing. Each menu has been reduced to include only the basic functionality.

Environment:

Oasis montaj and Target

Resolution:

  1. Close the Program
  2. Ensure that your computer is connected to the internet
  3. Go to Start > All Programs > Geosoft > software package > License > Update

This will connect you to the Geosoft License Server and automatically update your license information to match the data stored on the Server. This process may take a few minutes.

If the full functionality does not return after an update it may indicate that your Software has expired. At this point it is recommended that you contact your Geosoft Account Manager for further information regarding your Software expiry dates.

Root Cause:

This problem is generally the results of 2 possible root causes:

  • The license files on your computer have not been updated to reflect the changes to your Support Expiry date. Once the Support Expiry Date has been changed on the Geosoft License Server your computer needs to connect with the Server in order to update the License files.

  • The payment has not been received or processed. Therefore the Support Date has not been changed.
