How To: Display a reference grid on a map

Symptom/Problem:
The user wants to display gridlines on a map that they have created.

Environment:
Oasis montaj, Target, all versions.

Resolution:
Once the map is created and displayed in the appropriate projection, go to Map Tools | Base Map | Draw Base Map. The software will prompt you for the specifications on the page layout of the basemap. The second page of preferences will require you to specify the line type of the reference grid, as well as the spacing. When you click [Finish] to create the base map, the reference grid will be plotted, and in the View/Group Manager Tool the reference grid view will show up as "Coordinates". Note that the reference grid that is displayed on the map will correspond to the projection of the currently displayed map.
