How To: Export drillholes in a section map to a 3D DXF.

Problem/Symptom:
How can you export drillholes in a section map to a 3D DXF?

Environment:
This resolution applies to all versions of Target, as well as the Drillhole Plotting extension for Oasis Montaj.

Resolution:
1) Select the Section View in the View Group Manager - this will draw a selection box around the View.

2) Right-click the selection box and go to Export | 3D DXF.

3) In the Select Map Group to Export Window select the groups you would like to see in your 3D DXF press OK. Raster groups will not appear, because you cannot export rasters to a DXF.

4) Give the DXF a name and press OK. The created DXF will adopt the projection of the Map and contain X,Y,Z coordinates.

NOTE: these steps can also be used to export any vector groups to a 3D DXF.
