How To: Import array data

Symptom/Problem:
How do I import my array data?

Environment:
This resolution applies to all versions of Oasis Montaj and Target.

Resolution:
The easiest method is to format the data to Geosoft .XYZ format. Create a template (during the XYZ import process) and identify your first column of array data. In the Source Data panel, insert the array size, and in the Output panel specify a suitable name for the array. You can save the XYZ import template (*.i*) to easily import multiple files of array data that are similarly formatted.

You can also use the ASCII import. Follow a similar process as above in the XYZ import. Basically, you want to define your first array channel, and choose an array size that will encompass all of your array channels. You can then save the template file when completing the import.
