How To: Upgrade to version 7.0

Symptom/Problem:
Unable to upgrade to v7.0 using Help | Check for Updates, or using the download option from the Geosoft website.

Environment:
Oasis montaj and Target v6.4.2 to v7.0. Target for ArcGIS v2.2.2 to v3.0.

Resolution:
Version 7.0 is being shipped to each client who currently holds a valid license. Our Production Team began shipping the CDs during the week of February 11th, however due to the number of licensed users and their geographic locations, it is difficult to say exactly when you will be receiving your CD.

Having said this, it is not possible to upgrade to v7.0 using Help | Check for Updates, or downloading the install file from the Geosoft website. The simple reason for this is that the install is far too large to be downloaded. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused our users.

Root Cause:
The v7.0 install is quite large and having a download option is simply not reasonable.
