How To: Install Oasis Montaj 7.0 without having any previous version installed

Installation Instructions for OASIS MONTAJ 7.0 - NEW LICENSE

1. Make sure that you are logged on as an Administrator.

2. Insert the CD labeled Oasis montaj 7.0 in the computer drive and wait for the autorun run. The installation will begin automatically. If for some reason this doesn't occur, click twice on setup.exe file located on the main directory of the CD drive (to do this, 'Explore' the CD drive through My Computer, then browse to the main directory of the CD and double-click on the setup.exe).

3. The initialization will display the necessary requirements that need to be installed (Microsoft Installer v.3.1; Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0; ArcEngine 9.2; DirectX v9.0) before Oasis Montaj can be installed. If one or more of these components aren't already installed on your computer, select them and click INSTALL. The programs will then be installed following the indicated steps.

4. The box Geosoft Oasis montaj Setup will then be open. Click NEXT.

5. The next Box shows you the License Agreement. Read it carefully, select the option to accept the terms and click NEXT.

6. The next box shows you the folder where Oasis Montaj will be installed. By default this folder is saved into C:\Program files. Click NEXT to accept or click CHANGE to choose another folder to install the program.

7. Now, you will choose the Temp Oasis Montaj folder. By default it will be saved into C:\Program Files\Geosoft\Oasis montaj\. Click NEXT to accept or click CHANGE to save the Temp folder in another place which has more free space. This Temp directory can be installed to any drive on your computer.

8. The box will now show you that the program can be installed. Click INSTALL and then Oasis montaj will be installed.

9. When the installation process is over, the box below will be open. If you want to visualize what is new in Oasis Montaj 7.0, select to view the release notes, otherwise, unselect and click FINISH.

10. Automatically the Windows installation license will be opened. Enter your Geosoft license key and click INTERNET or EMAIL.

11. The program will then be ready for use. In case any error messages regarding the connection with our License Server appears when you click Internet, or in case you have problems receiving the Email license key, please send us an e-mail informing us that you are having such difficulties installing the license, and please send us your license key. We will then send you an offline license file with the instructions to install your license.
