How long will my Oasis montaj v7.0 installation take?

The Oasis montaj v7.0 install is very large, as there are a number of actions and required packages that must be installed and validated before Oasis montaj v7.0 will install.

The following actions take place during the install process:

1. Direct X v9.0c installation (if not already installed);


2. Microsoft .NET 2.0 SP1 installation (if not already installed);


3. ArcEngine v9.2 installation (if not already installed);


4. Windows Installer v3.1 installation (if not already installed);


5. Uninstall of v6.4.2 or any existing versions of Oasis montaj;


6. Oasis montaj v7.0 installation

We recommend that you follow the steps below, as soon as the installation starts:

- Go to the Processes tab and sort them according to CPU by clicking on the column header.
- The setup.exe (might be different if the install has been renamed) will come out on top with 99/8% to 100% usage.
- Right click on this process and pick the Set Priority > Low menu item.

Then let the installation run to completion. Setting the priority to Low of the installation will speed the installation up significantly, but may still take some time (up to 30 minutes) if you require all of the required components.
