Error message: "License not Valid"

Symptom/Problem:
Program will not operate. Menu items are grayed out.
License View gives the following error message: "license not valid".

Environment:
Applicable to all Geosoft Products which require a license key to run.
Oasis montaj, Target and Target for ArcGIS

Resolution:
Download and install the most recent version of Oasis montaj, Target or Target for ArcGIS.

Root Cause:
Newly created Licenses are restricted to recent versions.

This error occurs because the number of licenses key available for previous versions have been exceeded.
