About this Release

Geochemistry for ArcGIS 2.5.3 is available to all maintained customers. This release contains a new 3D orthographic projection option and minor fixes for maintenance and customer issues.

How to update

Online installs for each product are available through the Check for updates option within the software and from the download link at the top of this page.

System Requirements

Geochemistry for ArcGIS 2.5.3 is compatible with ArcGIS versions 9.3.1 SP2, 10.0 SP5, and 10.1 SP1.

Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit) is recommended. Windows 8 (requires ArcGIS 10.1 SP1 or newer), Windows Vista 32/64 (SP2), and Windows XP (SP3) are also supported.

Added an orthographic projection option in 3D views.
Maintenance Fixes
IS46881 Kriging or Minimum Curvature gridding of datasets with bad data locations will still result in a grid file, and an error message informing the user of the problem with the data.
IS71043 Contours no longer appear outside of the map limits when exported as an image.
IS88644 The "Browse from Predefined ESRI Projection" option in the "Copy Coordinate System From" dialog is now visible.
IS109013 Data downloaded from Seeker now displayed as expected in the active map.
IS111988 Able to create a new gridvox.var file in the newly specified location by default, when using the 3D Kriging View Variogram option.
IS112074 Reproject option now available in Seeker.
IS112080 Image data downloaded from Seeker now display as expected in the same dataframe in ArcMap.
