New in Target for ArcGIS 2.0.1

Target for ArcGIS 2.0.1 is a minor release that primarily includes bug fixes.

Target for ArcGIS Enhancements

  • Added export of project data to Surpac Geological Database.
  • Added ‘straight segments’ feature to resurveying method.
  • Increased maximum number of assay type databases to 64.
  • The Geosoft libraries now supports the Unicode libraries from Microsoft and other third party libraries for users who want to work with characters that cannot be represented by the ASCII table (characters 1-127). This provides for example the ability to label quickmaps in any language or character set/code.

DAP

DAP has undergone a major upgrade that includes a new DAP Interface, both within ArcMap and DAP’s web browser version. The new DAP interface includes an interactive display window and an easy-to-use tab dialog along with the following enhancements:

  • New Browser map shows the coverage area of the data available on the DAP server. This enables you to see if the data you want to access is available for a specific location on the globe.
  • Ability to preview datasets (HMAP/HGD/GRD/DB/SHP/TAB/HXYZ) in browser map
  • View catalogue in either tree view or list view form
  • View list of selected datasets (Control rendering order in browse window)
  • New web interface that mirrors the work flow and look and feel of the new Oasis montaj “Get DAP Data” dialog
  • Download GIS datasets as SHP/TAB files
