Geosoft’s Professional Services
group has expanded to meet industry demand for project management and
implementation services that support
the growth of geospatial
infrastructure and exploration data
management.
The Professional Services group,
led by Liane Kelly, Vice President
of Services, now comprises a global
team of project managers,
implementation professionals,
solution architects, quality assurance and
support coordination managers.

Geosoft
Update Released
A scheduled software update was
released in May for Oasis montaj
6.4.1, Target 6.4.1, and Target for
ArcGIS 2.2.1. The release addresses
software improvements and reported
issues. This update also
addresses a number of printing and
compatibility issues with Windows
Vista.
Geosoft is committed to supporting the Windows Vista operating
system and continues to perform
compatibility testing.

Acquisition of NGA Software and Intellectual Property
This
month, Geosoft announced its
intention to acquire the software
and intellectual assets of Northwest
Geophysical Associates Inc. (NGA).
This includes NGA’s line of GM-SYS
and GM-SYS 3D gravity and magnetic
modeling software. The proposed
acquisition is a natural progression
of Geosoft’s strong partnership with
NGA. »
