Rio Tinto Exploration have signed an agreement with Geosoft Inc. for acQuire as its global technical database solution. With the assistance of Geosoft and Metech, acQuire will be installed across the company's worldwide exploration projects. Implementation will commence in Africa in early 2004. Metech’s acQuire is considered the industry leading software for the storage of technical geologic data. Metech continues to dedicate 25% of annual revenue to the research and development of acQuire.
