Geosoft Marks 20th Anniversary

Launches $100,000 Software Giveaway Contest to Kick-Off a Year of Celebration

February 6, 2006 – Toronto, Ontario - Geosoft, a leading software solutions company for the Geosciences industry, marks its twentieth anniversary this year, and launches an international $100,000 software contest as part of its anniversary celebration.

Geosoft has a longstanding commitment to excellence in software innovation for the geosciences which dates back to the company's inception in December, 1986. The contest will provide monthly opportunities to win one license of Geosoft software.  Winners will be able to select from the company's industry-standard Oasis montaj mapping system, Target or Target for ArcGIS geology software products.
