Geosoft Plug-ins

These software plug-ins enable you to use MapInfo, ER Viewer, ArcGIS or Windows Explorer to view Geosoft file formats and download geoscience data from a DAP server. The files are free to download and distribute.

Tip: You can view MapInfo, ER Mapper, and ESRI ArcView/ArcGIS files in Oasis montaj without any plug-ins.

Geosoft Plug-ins File date Download Plug-in for MapInfo 7.1.1 The Geosoft plug-in for MapInfo enables you to view and use Geosoft grid (.grd), shaded grids, Geosoft Map (.map) files in MapInfo. You can also retrieve data from Geosoft DAP servers. Contents of each plug-in download file

Each plug-in download file is an .exe file containing all of the components for the plug-in. Download, unzip and run the executable file to install the plug-in.
