Geosoft DAP Server 10.0

Enhanced Data Security

Support for Microsoft Active Directory. All data can be secured on a user or group level. Security can also be established on a file-by-file basis.

Cataloguing

New data catalog file provides better support for rapid browsing, searching and exploration of available data. It has been designed to efficiently handle up to 500,000 separate catalog entries.

Metadata Manager

New toolset for end-to-end metadata management enables metadata creation, editing and maintenance. The Metadata Manager component facilitates the management of metadata associated with the Geosoft DAP data set library. Data Managers can create, view and modify metadata for each data set visible through the Geosoft DAP Server.

3D Voxel Data Support

Support for cataloguing and extraction of Geosoft 3D voxel data. Geosoft DAP’s high-performance compression and streaming technology enables voxel retrieval even over low-bandwidth connections.

ESRI Geodatabase and ArcSDE Support

First level support for ESRI Geodatabases and ArcSDE Databases is now provided.

Hyper Map Extraction Support

Support for Geosoft Hyper map extraction and on-the-fly reprojection
