Geosoft won a Silver Stevie® Award for Company of the Year, Computer Software category, in the 2015 International Business Awards.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the International Business Awards (IBAs) are the world’s premier business awards program. The 2015 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories.
This year’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie winners were selected from more than 3,700 nominations in a variety of categories. Geosoft’s cloud-based 3D inversion computing services, VOXI and VALEM, and its deployment of Cameco’s GET-IT data management solution were cited as examples of the company's pioneering position in its industry.
“We’re passionate about the potential of technology to contribute to resource and geoscience discovery, and incredibly proud of the strong partnerships we’ve fostered with our customers, who are also leaders in their respective fields” said Tim Dobush, CEO of Geosoft. "It’s an honour to be included among this year’s international business award winners, and a tribute to the commitment and collaborative efforts of our global team."
