Mawson Resources selects MX Deposit for gold project in Finland
As Vancouver-based Mawson Resources digests the results of a 16,000-metre, 75-hole winter drill program on its gold project in northern Finland, the company’s geologists are finding the voluminous amounts of data easier to manage using MX Deposit.
“I would say 95% of our data entry is quicker and easier,” says President Nick Cook, who is overseeing the company’s move to MX Deposit. “We are doing more with our core.”
MX Deposit is a cloud-based system, developed by Minalytix, that’s designed specifically for drill hole and sample data management. It can be accessed from anywhere, adheres to industry standards, and encourages real-time collaboration.
Geosoft offers the software on a subscription basis that can be scaled up or down depending on the user’s needs. Live support is available through built-in ticketing and online chat.
Nick says Mawson reviewed a number of options before settling on MX Deposit, primarily for its ‘excellent’ support that allowed the company to transfer drill data with few glitches. “We were looking for something that was not too big and not too expensive. We are happy with the way it is going.”
