Geosoft named as a top technology company in Branham300
Geosoft has ranked in the top 250 Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies on the Branham300, a list of top Canadian revenue performers in the ICT industry compiled by leading industry analyst firm Branham Group.
Geosoft moved up to #128 on this year’s list, from its ranking of #148 the previous year. This marks the 18th consecutive year that Geosoft has been named to the Branham300.
“We’re excited to be innovating and growing, alongside our customers,” said Tim Dobush, Geosoft CEO. “This affirms we’re on track with our goal to empower more geoscientists with the essential tools they need to visualize the Earth’s subsurface and subsea environments, and make discoveries through data.”
Over the past year, Geosoft launched new monthly, annual and multi-year subscription plans for its Oasis montaj suite of geoscience software, Target and Target for ArcGIS geology software, giving customers new flexibility in how they manage and scale their software usage within their projects and organizations.
In June, Geosoft released productivity and collaboration technology, including a new Geosoft Viewer and Geoscience Data Service, that makes accessing geoscience data and sharing insights easier for the Geosoft community. Geoscientists can access the Geoscience Data Service to search for global geoscience datasets by keyword or location. The Geosoft Viewer provides the ability to visualize, integrate and export a variety of geospatial formats in 3D and maps. The Viewer is free to download and it can be shared with colleagues and teams to allow anyone to view and collaborate with the geoscience data as maps, databases, or interactive 3D models.
Geosoft has also enhanced its integration with ArcGIS Pro, Esri’s next-generation desktop GIS. Building on its long-standing partnership with Esri, Geosoft recently released a new add-in for importing and viewing Geosoft raster files within ArcGIS Pro. The free-to-download Add-In for ArcGIS Pro is the latest in Geosoft’s ongoing effort to enhance integration and support advanced geoscience analysis within Esri’s world-leading GIS platform.
“Once again, Canada’s ICT professionals can be very proud of both the growth and the innovation they produced last year, and we are once again pleased to shine a congratulatory spotlight on this critical industry,” said Wayne Gudbranson, CEO, Branham Group.
