Geosoft announces major release of UX-Analyze for UXO classification
Geosoft has launched a major release of UX-Analyze, a software extension for Oasis montaj that provides a comprehensive solution for classification, modelling and analysis of unexploded ordnance (UXO) using advanced electromagnetic (EM) geophysical data. The system now supports dynamic survey data as well as static (cued) data.
Geosoft and Acorn SI have developed and validated UX-Analyze for several years with support from the US Department of Defense (DoD) Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP). The software is approved for the requirements of the DoD Advanced Geophysical Classification Accreditation Program (DAGCAP).
With this release, advanced EM sensor data from the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) TEM 2x2, the MetalMapper and the new Geometrics MetalMapper 2x2 instruments are now supported. Improved workflows and algorithms make it much easier to manage data and modelling results through the classification process. You can create depth response curves as well as collect, process and verify dynamic data and identify source locations from this data using Informed Source Selection (ISS).
