Geosoft will introduce its latest 3D developments at the PDAC 2013. Stop by our booth - 931 - to address your technical or software questions, and discuss how Geosoft can assist you with your upcoming exploration projects.
View daily presentations demonstrating how to apply and integrate new workflows for 3D subsurface geological modelling, and techniques for 3D geophysical inversion modelling to focus targeting and accelerate your mineral exploration program.
|11:30 am||Booth 931||
Exploration with drillhole data using
Target for ArcGIS
Discover how to work the drillhole and borehole geology data and quickly integrate it with your exploration data within your Esri environment.
|2:00 pm||Booth 931||
Advances in 3D Geophysical Inversion Modelling
Exploration geophysicists have generated thousands of inversion using Geosoft's cloud powered VOXI Earth Modelling technology, which has reduced the time and effort required to generate 3D models using geophysical inversion techniques.
|3:00 pm||Booth 931||
Combining Geological Modelling with VOXI Inversion to Improve Exploration Targeting
An integrated presentation to show how Geosoft Technology was applied to an intrusion related gold deposit in the Yukon. This talk will demonstrate how new 3D subsurface geological modelling workflows can be combined with VOXI Earth Modelling inversions to advance the interpretation of an early stage exploration project.
|4:00 pm||Booth 931||
New Geological Subsurface Modelling Workflows

Learn how to get faster and more accurate results within your Geosoft software by registering to attend one of the training sessions offered after this year's PDAC tradeshow. The courses will focus on developing skills and enhancing productivity using the latest Geosoft technology.
Please review the Geosoft Training Schedule to register.
Ian Macleod, Geosoft Chief Technologist, will provide an introduction to geophysics at the PDAC short course "Geophysics for Everyone", being run by KEGS on Wednesday, March 6th. Industry experts will cover the fundamental geophysical methods for mineral exploration, including magnetics, gravity, electromagnetics and IP. Participants of this one-day course will gain understanding of how geologic information can be extracted from geophysical data through data enhancement and interpretation.
KEGS 60th Anniversary Celebration
Geosoft is proud to sponsor the KEGS 60th Anniversary Celebration being held March 2nd, 2013 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Toronto, following the annual KEGS PDAC Symposium. The celebration will recognize the pioneers of the KEGS (Canadian Exploration Geophysical Society) and the KEGS' contribution to supporting and promoting geophysics at university, governmental and industry levels in Canada.
Geosoft will be participating in PDAC Mining Matters, introducing students in Grades 3, 4, 9, and 10 to the wonders of exploring the Earth’s subsurface through technology.
