Making geoscientific data more accessible and transparent by removing barriers to public and private access is critical to encouraging new investment in resource exploration. Geosoft has developed digital exploration data systems that enable consumers to search, extract and download multi-disciplinary datasets via interactive web portals.

In this presentation Geosoft will highlight two of these portals including the Botswana Geoscience Portal, a partnership initiative with the Botswana Geoscience Institute and industry sponsors, which also highlights recent examples of the use of large-scale inversion to support government initiatives, as well as QDEX Data, the Geological Survey of Queensland’s self-service survey data web map library.
