Jose Luis Ando, Geologist/Technical Analyst at Geosoft Latinoamerica, will be presenting a talk on Advances in 3D Modelling for ArcGIS, during the ESRI Latin America User Conference in Lima, Peru, that will take place at the Marriot Hotel from October 16 to 18, 2013.
The conference will bring together different levels of users and experts, all engaged with GIS technologies and applications aiming to update the participants with the newest tools and resources available to enable them to maximize the results from the use of their data, allowing to carry out a more effective job.
During his presentation, Jose Luis will show how Geosoft has been developing amazing 3D tools running in the ArcGIS platform, such as Solid Creation, 3D interpolation using Kriging or weighted inverse of distance and the powerful tool that converts 2D into real 3D features.
The new wireframing tools added to the Extension developed by Geosoft, Target for ArcGIS, enables the user to build 3D subsurface geological models by joining 2D interpretation sections to create 3D wireframe bodies.
